Hello - I’m Erica!

I was born and raised in New Orleans… well… technically, born in Metairie and sort of like raised in the “Greater New Orleans Area.” (I find it hard to make generalizations that aren’t entirely accurate.)

My mom was a banker my entire life. She taught me how to budget, build credit, and just generally be a well-rounded adult.

My dad was a paperman my enter life. He taught me how to be irresponsible in all the best ways.

They’re divorced now. Is that relevant? My therapist thinks it is.

I also have a stepdad, a brother, and a sister. Are they relevant? Of course, but I don’t have time for them. This is about ME!

Growing up, I was the shy kid. People would say, “Erica, do you ever talk?” And if I did talk, they would act like they just saw a mime break character. Good times! Nowadays, I talk a little more than my tween self would like. Honestly, I talk more than I would like.

People might also say I was indecisive, and I’d say “yeah, that’s accurate.” My indecisiveness is why this website is not complete.
